Indo gangetic plains have high density of population because:
1)It has rivers like ganga, indus, brahmaputra so they can make their life comfortable in that water rich region.
2)Because of the fertile land i.e indus, ganga, brahmaputra made it fertile by carrying sediments and silt so they can practice agriculture well.
3)so people live there because of fertile land

HEYA MATE HERE U GO.

This area in south Asia is extrmely fertile and excellent for farming.

This makes the Indo - Gangetic plain a heaven for Indian farmers to grow rice and wheat.

The plains supports high density of population as it is very easy to build on
