Solids do not possess fluidity because particles of solids are very rigid anddon't have much spaces between them. That's the reason why solids do not possess fluidity. This is because the intermolecular molecules are very tightly packed. This makes solid to be strong and do not allow it to flow.

in solids the particles are closely packed and are not free to move around while while in Fluids the particles are allowed to move freely
