During rainy season due to the moisture, air, water the copper reacts with atmospheric particles and forms oxides on its surface. That prevent it from further reaction and it loses its shine also

The greenish layer which develops on copper is of cuprous oxide.
Cuprous oxide is greenish in colour.
Copper when reacts with water it get oxidized due to which the cuprous oxide is formed.
These change of colour is a physical change.
Because the change in colour can be physical seen as a result the formation of greenish layer is a physical change.
