Plants did not have organ system like heart,lungs,etc.so they use phoem and xylem for transportation.this process takes time that is this is not so fast.that is the reason why plant use slower transportation.

Plants, however don’t have a organ or mechanism like humans, so therefore they have have a much slower transport system. They use things like cilia and villa, little hairlike structures that slowly sweep nutrients and waste to their proper place in a wave like motion. It’s not the fastest, but it’s very efficient for the plant body.
