Why do plants do not need a respiratory system

Photosynthesis also uses carbon dioxide faster than respirationproduces it. Oxygen surplus isreleased into the air and unused glucose stored in the plant for later use. This is why plants are so important to human and other animals' survival. Without photosynthesis, we wouldn't have oxygen or food to stay alive

Because they also grow, and any thing that has life and needs to grow needsto respire. Plants need carbon dioxide to get the energy out of the food theymake. ... They don't have lungs to breathe and therefore they don't need a respiratory system. They havestomata.
