Why do the 3s 3p and 3d orbitals have the same energy in a hydrogen atom?

Let me clear this point to you
3s 3p & 3d orbitals have nearly same energy (but not exactly same energy)

They have nearly same energy because they are in the same shell (3 in this case)

The values of energy change with the increase in shell number
