because ventricle received the blood under very high pressure & if blood wall is thin then the blood can tear the thin wall as it is flowing with high pressure & blood will scaterred in our body.

Hi friend !
The organ system of Human beings and other animals , which is responsible for the transport of materials is called the circulatory system. The various organs of the circulatory system in humans are: Heart , Arteries , Veins , Capillaries and blood.
There are three types of blood vessels in our body: Arteries , Ventricles , Capillaries.
The upper two chambers of heart are called atria and the lower two chambers of heart are called ventricles
The ventricles have to pump blood into various organs ,with high pressure.Hence they have thicker walls than atria.
A sheath of tissue called "pericardium" protects the muscular heart.
The chambers of heart are separated by septum
