why do we can break chalk and rubber band easily than iron nail​

Particles of iron nail have strongest intermolecular force which doesn't allow it break easily. Rubber band has stronger intermolecular forces than chalk which causes rubber to break after sustaining large force whereas chalk breaks easily.
