Hlw mate!!

This is to stop the reechoing of sounds (reverberation). The sheet of cloth absorbs the sounds in the theater thus reducing multiple reflections of sound. Curtains, clothes, cotton absorb the sound. They are excellent sound absorbing materials, so we can't hear clearly in presence of sound absorbing materials.

Hope it helpful

we hear sound not clearly in a curtain room than in a room without curtains because curtains are a good conductor of sound so.....
it absorbs the low frequency and thus we can hear sounds clearly.......

plz mark it as brainlist
