why do we store silver compounds in black bottle

because it will corrod of exposed in open environment. it will react with oxygen and a black layer will be formed on the top layer of the silver

we store sliver compounds in black bottle because sliver compounds reacts with sunlight ... and dark coloured objects / bottles obstruct light .. to prevent it from reacting . it is stored in dark bottles as by keeping in sunlight won't be able to reach sliver compounds
