YES IT HAPPENS IF THE ELECTED PARTY FAILS TO PROVE ITS MAJORITY THE PARTY FALLS DOWN. OR IN CASE IF THE ELECTED LEADER RESIGN FROM HIS POSSISON OR IF HE DIES ELECTIONS ARE AGAIN CONDUCTED WHICH MAY HAVE DIFERENT RESULTS.

yes the powers are for limited period because if the person lose the election the power goes down and if he dies so the election is held again and result is also different....
