Mumbai is on the sea bank.

There is continuous flow of the sea breeze throughout the year, so that the hot or cold air doesn't remain for so long that is why the temperature is neither too hot nor to cold.

The presence of coast in Mumbai & Delhi is an inland area. In Delhi, there is too hot in summer and too cold in winter.

Delhi's day length varies more than Mumbai due to higher latitude.

Longer day length in summer gives more heat & short winter day length makes it colder.

Answer:

Explanation:

Delhi is located in the inward of India whereas Mumbai is located in a coastal area. There is continuous flow of sea breeze and land breeze throughout the year, so that the hot or cold air does not remain for long. This is why the temperature in Mumbai is neither too hot nor to cold. However, Delhi does not experience anything like this. Therefore, temperature is very large.
