The coolng in a desrt cooler is due to the process of evaporation.The desert cooler cools better on a hot dry day bcz the temprature of the surrounding increses the rate of evaporation also increses nd in a hot dry day the humidity in the atmosphere is less,if humidity is less thn the evaporation is more.Tgis gives bettr cooling effct......hope ths hlps
