Ahmedabad lie within the tropical zone. Ahmedabad get the overhead sun twice a year. This happens one when sun direct rays shifts from the equator to the tropic and secondly when it moves away from the tropic to the equator.

Answer:

Ahmedabad is situated in southern side of India so it will experience the overhead sun twice in a year. And also , because there are only two days each year when day equals night (the equinox) because the earth 's tilt remains constant as it orbits the sun.
