Why does bodies decompose after death only? Why it doesn't starts decomposeing when we are alive?

hlo dear.... when body is alive the heart pumps...it act as a complex machine... the blood flows in our body... when we r dead the heart stops pumping.
..cells are dead no respiration.. expiration...etc..many examples r there...

Body decompose after death because when body is alive then all the microorganism which protect our body from external things .and all the functions of body are occur due to this our body dose not decompose .
And one more reason is there,if we die no one cares our body and all the functions of body stops due to this microbes attack on dead body and harms it.
