Carbon compounds have low melting point because force of attraction between carbon compounds are not very strong.

Answer:

Explanation:

this is because carbons form covalent bond and are easy to break therefore have low melting and boiling points.... covalent compounds have weak forces of attraction between the binding molecules. Thus less energy is required to break the force of bonding. Therefore covalent compounds have low melting and boiling point.
