copper does not liberate on reaching with dilute h2 so4​ because copper is below hydrogen in electro-chemical series where as other metals are above hydrogen hence they can reduce hydrogen ion present in acid to hydrogen gas .

hence ,

cu + h_{2}so_{4}--> no reaction
