Why does density increases towards the centre of the earth? Explain

Example take a glass full of sand.


just apply pressure with your palm. You will see Glass become somewhat empty.

Now

density=mass/volume

By applying pressure volume become less

So the density increases.

Same in earth's case as we go down overlying weight(also pressure) increases thus density increases.

Dense material sank to the center, while the lighter material created the crust. 
That is why Density increases towards the center of the earth ..
