Why does hair of a person get straight vertically upward while he/she get an electric shock

Answer:

This happens because our hair is neutral and we get an electric shock , our hair get charges and start repelling from each other. Thus standing up vertically is just repulsion.

the hairs are just trying to get away from each other because like charges repel. ... If a current flows in a conductor magnetic flux is produced as per Faraday 's law of electro magnetic induction, when electric shock is received by the human body due to the current flown hair stands with magnetic effect
