camel cannot survive in water because it's geographical condition in hot and humid climate .

it can only survive in desert .

Lotus cannot grow in desert as there is not water available in deserts .

it can only grow in water

we cannot decide whether a camel or a lotus should survive in water or desert .

it is nature and we have to accept it however it is....

Lotus can't survive in dessert because it needs water to grow and survive

where as

camel can survive in dessert because it doesn't need more water for itself .

And camel can't survive in water as it is an animal used to hot climate, usually.
