Reflection can happen for a couple reasons.Reflection off metals (like a mirror) happens because electrons in the metal happen to be able to match the frequency of the light, so it bounces off. It can also happen because of a change in refractive index.

krittheintelligent: hey copier
krittheintelligent: pls answer in a simpler language
EunJin19kpop: If you doesn't want it plz don't bother it another is answering
krittheintelligent: ok i am not bothering i am reporting
EunJin19kpop: Its my humble request. Don't call anyone copier again. Many copy but only to help. I really hurt when someone refer you as copier

we have learned that refraction occurs as light passes across the boundary between two media.Refrection is merely one of several possible boundary behaviours by which a light wave could behave when it encounters a new medium or an obstacle in its path.
