handle of screwdriver have plastic on its handle to ensure grip sometimes it is used to check weather electricity is there or not so it helps in proving insulation so that we wont get shocked

bcoz....screwdriver is also used to check whether electricity is passing/not.and its also used to repair electrical machines.it also helps in insulation..the upper part/that tube is made up of metal so it passes electricity through it. so if there is no plastic on the screwdriver's handle the person will get shock.so to prevent this there will be plastic coating in the screw driver's handle.

hope this helps....pls mrk as brainliest..........
