Why does the moon follow us when we drive?

Actually the moon doesn't move , it only appears to be so due to the fact that the earth is very far from it.The distance we move is negligible as compared to the earth and moon.S o the angular position of the moon hardly changes and no change in its angular size.Thus , it does not move with us as it normally appears so.
