why electrical wires are provided with insulators

as electrical wire is a good conductor it is provided with insulators

Heya..Empress Here...

The Electric Wires are themselves made up of conductors and you know it. They are covered by some insulators, For Example :- Rubber so that the person handling it during the time when electricity passes through the wire, does not get shock.
