Sometimes electrons do fall into the nuclei this is nuclear decay.Yes indeed, electrons orbiting around the atom can be captured into the nucleus. Electrons move in fixed orbits around the nucleus , and they constantly keep moving in fixed orbits because of force exerted upon them by the positrons of the nucleus .

It's because they travel in a fixed paths call orbits which are also called shells.basically in an atom there are 4 shells namely k,l,m,n
