Answer:

as more electrons are added in f subshell the distance between the valence shell and nucleus becomes wider due to atomic size which inturn decreases the force of attraction between the nucleus and valence electron

because as far the electron gets the less the force of attraction becomes just like a solar system

Answer:

a v.good question ,first I wanna appreciate you for asking this brilliant question u have to recall this what is shielding effect

Explanation:

shielding effect is " in an atom the attraction of nucleus on VALENCE shell electrons is screened or shielded (means decreased)due to the presence of inner shells.

it is INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL TO THE attraction

SHIELDING EFFECT~1/attraction

in this question you have to remind these points and ur answer will be cleared

1:

when number of electrons increases in f subshell

2:

the electron density also increases

3:

due to THIS ,the size will be reduced

4:

the attraction will be increased due to the decrease in size

5:

and shielding effect will become poor

hope this helps ,if not plz comment ,I will make u sure again
