The soil in the tenperate grasslands is very fertile which leads to good production of vegetables, crops and fruits. Grass is available in abundance which act as a good feed for the growth of animals such as cattle and sheep. This is why farming and cattle rearing are the main occupation of people in temperate grasslands.

Animals are reared on the western side of the prairies because that area consists of extensive grasslands on which animals can graze. That area is also not very suitable for farming as it is comparatively dry. prairies are grass parks in southern america. Animals are reared in the prairies in huge farms.

(Prairies are a type of grasslands. So, u can relate and write.)
