in men, the larynx or the vocal box, increases in size with age... so the voice bcumz deeper n deeper as he growz....

the voice box in men izz also called adam's apple as it statrs protrudin wid age...

bt in women, these changes r nt seen, or if seen also, they r barely noticeable

hence the voice of women izz more shrill than tht of men...
