Why h2o2 act both as oxidizing reagent and reducing agent?

AS YOU KNOW THAT HYDROGEN IS A STRONG REDUCING AGENT AND OXYGEN IS THE ONLY OXIDIZING AGENT. IN THIS COMPOUND BOTH ARE PRESENT IN EQUAL AMOUNTS. SO, IT ACT AS BOTH, OXIDIZING AND REDUCING AGENT.
