why have we opted a particular longitude as our standard meridian? given three reason

because when we travel around our India, there us different time at different places. Bcoz their are done longitudes and latitudes, so government of india decided to take the centre of India as the time for the whole country. The centre of the earth passes through the mirzapur in uttar Pradesh and it is called as standard meridian of india
