Kinetic energy of molecules(and hence for the charge carriers) within substance increases due to rise in temperature i.e (3/2)KT , 'k' is boltzman constant and 'T' is absolute temperature of that substance .So,on increasing the temperature kinetic energy increases and we can see from the formula that this can be .
