India has a monsoon type of climate as its climate is influents by the monsoon winds the monsoon type of climate is based on the distinct season and season of reversal of monsoon winds this happens due to the different type of heating of land and water bodies and pressure situation. When air moves from high pressure area over the southern Indian ocean crosses the equator and turns right to the low pressure area over the Indian subcontinent  this winds blow over the warm Ocean pic of moisture from the air and result into rainfall in India
