as river Ganga flows in indo - gangetic plain , the soil is very much fertile . So , the agricultural production gradually increases as the soil is fertile in this area , so more people come from different parts of the country or from other countries to reside here . This people find their jobs in agricultural sector (primary sector ) as this area experiences high agricultural production.
