induction is the process by which a charged body when brought near but not in contact with an uncharged body induces an opposite charge in the uncharged body
since the two bodies are of opposite charge they attract each other

The fact is that charged body always always attracts light particles can be explained on the process of induction.
The degree of induced particles depends on the nature of magnetic material.
The degree of induced magnetism is directly proportional to strength of the inducing magnet being used and inversely proportional to the distance between inducing magnet and the magnetic material. As a reason for all these properties Induction always proceed attraction.
