Why is a series arrangement not used for connecting domestic electrical appliances in a circuit?

because in series arrangement the potential difference across different appliances will vary and the effectiveness of the appliance will also vary

in series arrangement with increase in distance from the power supply the resistance will also increase thus some appliances may become ineffective

in a series connection even if one plug board is spoilt by some short circuit or so then the whole circuit will break but in parallel since their will be individual connections to the power supply if one is spoilt the other will work
