The emergency hormone:-Adrenaline

Explanation:

Hormone

It is chemical secreted by specialist cells (glands) to help the body to control and co-ordinate with different parts.

There are total 200 hormones that are screted by the body from endocrine as well as exocrine glands,

Out of these hormones adrenaline is the hormone secreted by adrenal medulla (Brain) in case of stress that is why it is called as emergency hormone.

Functions of adrenaline hormones:-

  1. This hormone increases the metabolic rate.
  2. Helps individual to think and respond quickly (initiates reflex action).
  3. It is also responsible for the relaxation of blood vessels connecting through heart and the brain.
