Why is blood called connective tissue

Blood is considered a connective tissue for two basic reasons: (1) embryologically, it has the same origin (mesodermal) as do the otherconnective tissue types and (2) bloodconnects the body systems together bringing the needed oxygen, nutrients, hormones and other signaling molecules, and removing the wastes.

blood is called as connective tissue because it reaches all the organs from lungs thus it connect all ther organs that's why it is called as connective tissue.
