Why is carbon dioxide not normally considered an atmospheric pollutant?

Carbon dioxide is not normally considered as atmosphere pollutants beacause it is a part of photosynthesis the plant co2 for photosynthesis and releases oxygen so co2 is required for production of oxygen .
