First,carbon dioxide is more soluble in blood than O2..... Therefore when it reaches to lungs the COz can freely dissociate from the haemoglobin and be expelled from the body. Third the majority of CO2 molecules (85 per sent) are carried as part of the bicarbonate buffer system.
