Why is democratic government a better govt?

As we know that democracy is a people's rule so in democracy people have the opportunity to vote and select their representative who have they think better

1) Democracy Enhances the Dignity of the Citizens. In other words citizens have the freedom of speech and expression, freedom of occupation and everyone is treated equally by the constitution.
2) The Real Power is Vested in the Hands of Masses. In the other words the citizens have the 'power to vote' and they can elect governments in and out according to it's functioning.
3) The Rule of Law Prevails. In the democracy the law is taken to be the supreme and everyone, be it rich or poor or mighty or weak is subjected to that law. This confirms justice to everybody.
4) The Representatives are Accountable to General Public. In no other forms of government, it is accountable to the public as it is democracy. This ensures proper functioning of the ruling party.
5)In Democracy, Decision Making is Improvised. The decision making in democracy, is subjected to widespread consultation which makes the quality of the decision better.
6) It Provides Space for a Fair and Healthy Competition. In democracy, every citizen has the equal power to come to power. As well as every vote has its own value.
