Why is dry ice is stored under high pressure

kirti9494: It is used to deep freze the food and keep the ice cream cold. Solid carbon dioxide is stored uder hight pressure .This is because on decreasing pressure on solid carbon dioxide,it get directly converted into carbon dioxide gas.

Solid carbon dioxide is stored under high pressure. This is because on decreasing the pressure on solid carbon dioxide , it gets converted directly into carbon dioxide gas

Solid carbon dioxide is dry ice it is called because it is stored under high pressure as well as low temperature. It stored high pressure because that ice convert liquid into gaseous state.
