endo cytosis is engulfing of solid particles which is only present in animal cells because they are heterotrophs they seek nutrition from other source unlike plants which are autotrophs

Endocytosis requires the fluidity of the cell membrane. Plant and prokaryotic cells have cell walls, which do not have the fluidity required to form vesicles around materials. So, endocytosis is found only in Animal cells.
