India is a Peninsula because; it is also surrounded by water in three sides Bay of Bengal in the East,Arabian sea in the west and the Indian Ocean in the South.

Archipelago is a cluster of islands or chain of tiny islands scattered on the ocean.

Maldives is also archipelago because it is made up with tiny 1190 islands on the Indian Ocean.
