Antibiotics are medicines that are used to cure bacteria-related diseases. Also, Viruses have a protective coat or Envelope over them which protects them. Also, Viruses are orgamisms with peculiar qualities i.e. when they come in contact with an organism they are living, else they are non livimg. That is why Antibiotics may not work in case of Viruses.
