Fog affect the visibility of an area. On a foggy day water condenses on the dust particles close to the ground. This creates fog. This blurs the atmosphere of an area. Pls mark this as the best.

tiny water droplets present in atmospher get closer to surface in cold weather and create fog . due to this fog light can not pass easily and not reach observer's eye properly. that's why we can't see properly in foggy day .
