Why is it difficult to push a nail into a wooden plank with a blunt end???

As area increases pressure decreases. blunt nail have more area at the tip compared to that of a pointed nail… Hope it helped u… Mark as brainliest …

Ohk..so now what basically happens is that the nail has a pointed small tip and a fat little body..wood is just for the implementation....so what happens...a blunt nail is a nail without a pointed tip.!! now as you may know that smaller the area the greater the force is..!!! if you try to put a sharp pointed nail into wooden plank that would easily go inside cause the pointed nail breaks throught the wooden plank with a greater pressure.!! now for a blunt nail , its har because a blunt nail would not have a sharp pointned tip ... so it would be hard to break through the wooden plank.!!! Hence it feels harder.!!
