If the air bubbles are entering from the sides that try heating the slide after formation of air bubble and slightly slant it. It may help the air bubble to pass away from top side.
If the problem is in slide preparation, then try dipping the section in xylene before mounting in DPX.
Third option may be to seal the sides with DPX itself, however care must be taken so that it covers only the sides. The slightly spread segments of DPX upon coverslip may be later removed through normal razor blade after DPX has dried.
