Why is it not possible to see an atom with naked eyes

Atoms are very small , they are smaller than anything we can imagine more than millions of atoms when's that would make a layer belly as thick as a sheet of paper they are very small in red eye and measured in terms of NM hands it is not possible to see an atom with naked eyes

It is because atom is very small in size. it can't be seen with naked eye.
