why is it possible to draw silver into a wire even a long pencil point breaks so easily ? pls ans

It is easy to draw silver into wire because it is a metal and has the property of ductility that is the property of a metal to get converted into thin wires.
But the lead of the pencil is made up of graphite which is a non metal and don't posses the property of ductility.
