Why is it too important for saturated hydrocarbons to be inside plasma membrane?

hydrophobic tails, each containing either a saturated or an unsaturated fatty acid, are long hydrocarbon chains. Proteins make up the second major chemical component of plasma membranes. Integral proteins are embedded in the plasma membrane and may span all or part of the membrane.
